Institute vice president and director of research Susan N. Houseman has been elected to the National Academy of Social Insurance (NASI). Houseman joins 51 other social insurance experts recently elected to the Academy. NASI's mission is to "advance solutions to challenges facing the nation by increasing public understanding of how social insurance contributes to economic security."
Besides Houseman, Institute president Randall W. Eberts, senior economist Christopher J. O'Leary, and senior economist emeritus H. Allan Hunt are also NASI members.
