In September 2015, an inner-city economic summit was held in Detroit. Titled "Revisiting the Promise and Problems of Inner City Economic Development," the summit brought together researchers and practitioners who shared their knowledge and experience on how inner cities can grow and develop into vibrant areas where people want to live, work, and play.
In late-April 2016, a special issue of Economic Development Quarterly, based on the summit, becomes available. Below is the Table of Contents.
