The longtime head of the W.E. Upjohn Institute for Employment Research, Dr. Randall W. Eberts, announced on Monday that he plans to retire as President of the Institute once a successor is chosen and is in place. Dr. Eberts and the Institute’s Board of Trustees met recently to initiate a succession plan. Dr. Eberts, in announcing his decision to staff, noted that after nearly 25 years at the helm of the Institute, it is a good time for new leadership and that he is pleased with the Board’s succession plan.
